The prizes were based on different categories.  The first three places were respectively won by:   “Best Angler”, 13 year old Macky Tesh, who caught a 41.40 Dolphin fish, the largest fish in the tournament, José R. Peralta Fernández, second and Salomón Rizek third.

During the tournament, the Overall Best Angler Award was respectively won by:  Salomón Rizek, with a total of 52.20 pounds, Ricardo Hazoury, with a total of 46.30 pounds and  Carlos Valera, with a total of 44.25 pounds.

Ricardo Hazoury, Alberto Durán, Salomón Rizek and Milton Franco, all crew members of “La Bury” walked away with the “Best Team” price with a total of 121.15 points.  Julio César Castaños, Carlos Valera and Carlos Ascuasiati, crew members of “Miranda” came in second with 82.90 points and José R.Peralta Fernández and José R. Peralta, all crew members of the boat “Serenata” won the third prize with 54.70 points.

Another tournament award category was “Best Video” won by Mr. Carlos Ascuasiati on board of “Miranda”.   The winners won a free stay at Cap Cana and gifts from the sponsors.
