Cap Cana, Dom.Rep, November 21, 2009 – With the attendance of His Excellency, Dr. Leonel Fernandez Reyna, President of the Dominican Republic, the project Puerto Marina at Cap Cana was formally launched. This real estate residential development is being built by the Velutini Group, inside the paradisean Cap Cana’s Marina.
The commencement of construction activity was led by Luis Emilio Velutini, President of the Velutini Group, and Luis Carlos Serra Carmona, International Business Director, together with Abraham Hazoury, Ricardo Hazoury and Fernando Hazoury on behalf of Cap Cana. They were accompanied by the Secretary of Tourism, Francisco Javier Garcia, government officials and personalities from the tourism industry and business sector.
With an estimated investment of over U.S. $ 110 million, Puerto Marina will have a strategic location in the Cap Cana’s Marina, designed to be the, at its completion, the most complete and modern in the Caribbean.
The first phase consists of a community that offers private homes, with a unique island where they will develop eleven sumptuous residences with spectacular private docks for yachts and boats. Representatives of the Velutini Group ratified to President Fernandez, Executive Members, and representatives of the national private sector investors, their commitment to promote Real Estate Development in the Dominican Republic, as evidenced in the forthcoming completion of the modern shopping center, Blue Mall Santo Domingo and the start of construction in the first quarter of 2010, of the Blue Mall Punta Cana.
Similarly, they mentioned that residential developments will be built both in the city of Santo Domingo and The Canas City, located in the province of La Altagracia. Also, they thanked the authorities for their support and for maintaining tourism fiscal incentives, which have made possible these investments.
